No long weekend for Cyril Hanouna since the host of TPMP was present live on C8 with his columnists on April 5, 2021. During his program, the one who recently responded to Patrick Timsit’s attacks returned to the violent burglary of which Bernard Tapie and his wife were victims April 4, 2021. Present on the set, the son of the businessman, Stéphane Tapie, gave news of his father. He also took the opportunity to discuss an initiative taken by Emmanuel Macron following this event.
“I know the president has a security system in place,” revealed the son of one who contemplates death from the cancer he has suffered. In addition, Stéphane Tapie made it clear that the Head of State acted “of his doing”. “He was the one who decided, no one asked him.” he added, referring to the “benevolence” of the President of the Republic with regard to his father. Visibly moved, Bernard Tapie’s son also spoke of the reaction of the First Lady, Brigitte Macron. “Madame Macron was very classy. She is a great lady.” he launched, specifying that he had had it several times on the phone since this incident which made the headlines.
“It’s like it’s my family”
Obviously very touched by what happened to Bernard Tapie and his wife, Gilles Verdez collapsed on the plateau of TPMP. “I find the family to be worthy … Excuse me I’m moved,” he started with tears in his eyes, before trying to recover. “I’m having a hard time. It’s like it’s my family. I find they are of extreme dignity in the violence of what they have lived“ he explained, before addressing Stéphane Tapie, assuring him that “everybody” was with him and his family. “It’s like they’re my family, it’s like they’re my parents. I’m upset, it’s horrible doing that.” concluded somehow the chronicler of Cyril Hanouna, who could not contain his emotions.
