She talks about her unfulfilled desire to have children

Nova Meierhenrich has been successful in show business for several decades. However, a private wish of the presenter and actress remained unfulfilled: she is childless to this day.
Nova Meierhenrich, 49, has been successful in show business since the beginning of her career in the 1990s as a presenter at the music station “Viva” and her later role as Meike Breuer’s nanny in the evening series “Verbotene Liebe”. The latter was a real dream role, after all, children are important to the presenter. However, her own desire to have children did not come true, as she now reveals.
Nova Meierhenrich: “I have to find peace with this issue”
“Yes, of course I always wanted to have my own children,” she openly admits to “Bild,” and admits: “But I’ll be 50 this year, so I have to find peace with this issue.” However, she is constantly surrounded by children and “love it.” She has five nephews and nieces, and most of her friends have young children.
“I’m the cool girlfriend with the camper”
She is only too happy to spend time with them, because it is important to her not to be “the unhappy bitter woman who can’t go out with the other friends and their prams because it hurts her,” she clarifies. Instead, she prefers to be “the cool girlfriend with the camper,” says the 49-year-old. “I travel with my camper. It’s set up so that I can just drive off. Just go to the beach and sit by the sea with coffee and find life great.”
Being independent is important to the moderator: “Because when the dream prince is gone, we’re still on our own two feet. It’s important to me that I can pay my food and my rent, book a vacation for myself. I don’t need anyone other things for it.” Nevertheless, Nova “likes to be weak at times, but just wants to be able to walk on her own,” she explains.
