A Battle Royale temporarily opens its doors to WoW – Gamosaurus

Update 10.2.6 World of Warcraft has just been released. As always, a flood of balancing is coming for players. But a little more has been added to this long list. A new game mode is coming to WoW, Plunderstorm, a pirate Battle Royale. Provided as rewards, it is temporarily available from March 19 to all subscribed players.

First of all, it is important to note that this game mode takes place on a dedicated server. From the modern client, Retail, simply select Plunderstorm from the game menu to access it. From there you will need to create a new character specifically for the event, before deciding whether you want to attack solo or as a duo.

In Plunderstorm, players are dropped onto the Arathi Highlands map. 60 looters and looters face off, exploring the area to find new techniques, upgrades and loot to survive. Each game lasts between 10 and 15 minutes, and only the last survivor is declared the winner. In duo mode, it is obviously the two players from the same team who win if they are still alive.

However, the adventure is not easy. The loot is found in huge chests but take time to open. You must therefore be vigilant at the start of a game. However, looting is necessary to become more powerful, because techniques improve by finding them in better qualities, or through duplicates. Staying proactive ensures better survival.

Rewards galore

Obviously, a new game mode, especially temporary, could not come without anything. By participating in this Battle Royale, players will be able to obtain various rewards for both Retail and WoW Classic. Ornamental objects, mascots, titles and even mounts await in the Arathi Highlands. You don’t have to win to get these gifts. A progress bar will unlock rewards, and you just have to play to make it climb.
