Starfield quietly continues on its merry way. Bethesda takes good care of it, with regular updates. Moreover, the latter often bring changes highly requested by the community. But there remains one unanswered question: where is the DLC called Shattered Space? We should technically know more in 2024, but for the moment, it’s radio silence. Well, rest assured, obviously, the announcement we’ve all been waiting for won’t be long in coming.
Starfield DLC approaching? A big clue about SteamDB
Be careful, we’re not dealing with a big reveal that will knock you off your chair either. Nevertheless, it is a good clue that has alerted some players. Indeed, on SteamDB, the Starfield listing has been updated. More precisely, it is the section dedicated to the DLC which was entitled to a new feature simply called “Unknown app”. It is therefore an intriguing addition, but which does not allow us to know precisely what has been modified. Is this the extension?
It’s entirely possible, and the comparison with Fallout 4 has also been made. Yes, if we look at the same section for the fourth opus, we notice the presence of additional content such as Nuka-World. Therefore, it is possible that Bethesda is up to something with this strange update. At the same time, it would be weird if it wasn’t about Shattered Space. We can be almost sure that we will be entitled to an announcement in 2024, but when? Does this change on SteamDB suggest that a trailer with a release date is coming? Hope gives life.
It must be said that this platform is a real mine of juicy information. And nothing escapes the community. In any case, for now, we will have to be patient, and wait for proper confirmation from the publisher. Aside from the DLC, fans hope to get their hands on official modding tools soon. Todd Howard, executive producer at Bethesda, has also promised them for this year. Creation Kit 2, which will mark a turning point in this regard, could arrive in spring 2024.
