Baden is relegated after Schaffhausen wins a point and loses to Thun 1:5, Sion shoots Wil at home 4:0.

FC Thun and FC Sion continue to play in their own league in the Challenge League. The two teams that will be promoted and Barrage participants won their games clearly. The Sioners celebrated a clear 4-0 win against FC Wil in their home tourbillon. Dejan Sorgic led his team to victory with a brace.

Meanwhile, FC Thun celebrated a 5-1 win in Baden. Mats Hanke had given Aargauer the lead, but before the break Koro Koné turned the game around for the Bernese Oberlanders. In the second half, Koné completed his hat trick (51′), Vasilije Janjicic (74′) from distance and Ihsan Sacko (84′) increased the score to 5-1.

Baden’s short Challenge League adventure

The Challenge League adventure is over for Baden. After a year in the second highest league, the Baden team has to go back to the Promotion League. FC Schaffhausen’s point win (1-1 against Nyon) sealed Baden’s relegation three rounds before the end.
