One of the next big exclusives that will be released on Nintendo Switch has just suffered a big leak. And clearly, it makes your mouth water.
If you own a Nintendo Switch, then you know that 2024 is going to be a busy year. We have, for example, Mario vs. Donkey Kong which arrives on February 16. But there is also Paper Mario: The Millennium Door, the GameCube classic. In this lot, we also find an exclusivity highly anticipated by players. And precisely, on this subject, a new leak has just revealed new images on this game which promises to be dynamic and oh so fun.
A big leak on this Nintendo Switch exclusive
You might have guessed it, but it’s Princess Peach Showtime. It’s the big return of the license which was born in 2006 on Nintendo DS. For information, at the time, it was one of the console’s best-selling productions. Suffice to say that Big N had every interest in reviving the franchise. As it happened, the fans were over the moon. The first trailer sold the dream, while giving us a release date. The exclusivity is expected for March 22, knowing that pre-orders are already open. As for the story, here’s what we can learn from the official synopsis:
One fine day, a devoted Toad gave Peach the poster for a show at the Théâtre de l’Étincelle. She then set out to attend in the company of a few Toads, but… the infamous Syrah and her evil Cluster suddenly appeared and took over the scene. Peach then decides to join forces with Stella, the theater guardian to save the show… and the situation!
On the gameplay side, Peach has access to Stella’s ribbon which gives her the ability to fight enemies, but not only that. She can also influence the scenery around her. However, the mechanic that probably caught fans’ attention the most was shapeshifting. By placing herself on a circle, the young woman is able to transform herself into a swordsman, a Kung-Fu specialist or a pastry chef. Obviously, we don’t know them all, but that’s where the leak comes in. Nintendo America has posted an advance article that introduces four new transformations: Mermaid Peach, Mighty Peach, Dashing Thief Peach and Figure Skater Peach. We let you admire one of them below.
