“A bit of a quirky situation”: the unlikely luck of this double EuroMillions jackpot winner

In a daily interview The Liberated Dauphinea man on condition of anonymity recounts how he twice won the jackpot of Euromillions. The latter had already had the incredible chance of winning the My Million game jackpot in 2020. “I won just when the confinement was released. In fact, you just receive an email telling you that you have won a large sum and to contact someone at La Française des jeux”, he recalls. Checking the results of the draw on the internet, he couldn’t believe his eyes. “I didn’t really believe it”he confides.

A second jackpot on her wedding day

Despite his million euros in his pocket, this inveterate player has decided to continue playing. And he benefited from an unlikely chance sincehe won the jackpot a second time this year! “The way it happened is pretty crazy: I found out the day I remarried my wife”, he says in the interview. I left with my winning ticket and I kept it with me for the whole stay because I didn’t dare leave it at the hotel”, he remembers, amused by the rather funny situation. “I called the FDJ’s winning service from a nice hotel in Venice, it was a bit offbeat”. Thanks to his winnings, he was able to offer an apartment to one of his children and treat himself to a beautiful honeymoon. The rest has been set aside.
