The Mortal Kombat fighting game franchise, renowned for its intensity and spectacular combat, continues to expand with the introduction of new characters via DLC. Mortal Kombat Invites a Madman
The new Mortal Kombat character is Homelander, the famous antagonist of the Amazon Prime Video series The Boys. Although the character’s specific release date has not yet been announced, a new gameplay trailer has been revealed, sparking excitement among fans.
In this newly released trailer, Homelander is shown in action, showcasing his unique abilities and fighting style. The character is seen consuming breast milk, a detail taken directly from his characterization in The Boys, and performing an impressive fatality where he throws his opponent into the sky only to hit them with an airliner.
One more hero in the roster!
Homelander is the fifth of six DLC characters that will be included in Kombat Pack 1. This pack has already seen the addition of several other characters such as Omni-Man in November 2023, Quan Chi in December 2023, and the Suicide Squad character , Peacemaker, dubbed by John Cena in March. Ermac, a ninja from Mortal Kombat, was added last month. The cycle will end this summer with the arrival of Takeda Takahashi, a character from Mortal Kombat
