A new film has just arrived on the Prime Video platform, and you shouldn’t miss it as it is completely crazy. Plus, it has a big cast.
Recently, we had the opportunity to discover the new releases on Prime Video for January 2024. And it started rather strong, with the arrival of three films from the Mission Impossible franchise: Ghost Protocol (MI4), Rogue Nation (MI5) and Fallout (MI6). But that’s not what interests us today. Indeed, a film has just entered the platform’s catalog, and it should greatly interest you. Besides, you undoubtedly know the headliner.
Prime Video welcomes Bullet Train
This is Bullet Train, released in 2022 and now available on Prime Video. This is the latest from David Leitch, who we know for Atomic Blonde or Deadpool 2, among others. It’s an action film that can only be described as crazy. In terms of casting, we are treated to some great people, first with Brad Pitt, but also Sandra Bullock, Michael Shannon, Hiroyuki Sanada and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. At this stage, our mouths are already watering, but wait until you see the story which, if it is rather simple at first glance, has the merit of being devilishly effective.
First of all, it is important to remember that it is an adaptation of the novel Maria Beetle by Kōtarō Isaka. The plot takes place aboard a high-speed train traveling between Tokyo and Kyoto. The main character, nicknamed “Ladybug”, must retrieve a mysterious suitcase and get off at the next stop. The problem is that there are other hitmen present on site, each with a different objective. Their destinies will cross, and there it will be drama. Don’t forget, if you’re interested, go to Prime Video.
We really advise you to give it a chance, because it’s not just a stupid and bad action film. There is a good dose of humor which is a pleasure to see, and the performance of the cast is surprising. So yes, it may not be the big revelation of 2022, but if you don’t want to worry tonight, launch Prime Video, and sit back and watch Bullet Train. You won’t be disappointed (at least we hope, otherwise, well, sorry).

Just in case, we will give you here the complete list of films that arrived on Prime Video for this week 1 of January 2024. Above, we mentioned Mission Impossible and Bullet Train, but these are not the only big cartridges of the selection. We notably note Annie Hall, a feature film by Woody Allen which won four Oscars. Additionally, there is also Blow Out, which is perhaps one of Brian De Palma’s (Scarface) greatest films. The initial premise is enough to pique curiosity: a sound engineer finds himself immersed in a conspiracy after witnessing an accident. The latter took the life of a presidential election candidate. But was it really an accident? It’s up to you to discover it.
