Sad news for the faithful of “Dancing with the stars”. This August 4, on Instagram, Marie Denigot announced that she will not be able to participate in the TF1 program. Indeed, the personality to be his partner could not arrive in France.
next fall, Dancing with the Stars will make a comeback on TF1 for its twelfth season. A 2022 edition marked by the departure of several historical dancers from the program. After Denitsa Ikonomova and Maxime Dereymez, Christian Millette also announced leaving the show. Absences which will be compensated by the return of the very first professional to have won the show: the Australian Katrina Patchett. Another emblematic figure of the program who was to return to service: Marie Denigot. Absent from the show for two years, she was to participate in season 12 of the contest of the first channel. But finally, this August 4, on Instagram, the 27-year-old sportswoman announced that she would not take part in the competition. “I was immensely happy (…) to return every week to the floor of the show that changed my life in 2016. Unfortunately, the celebrity with whom I was to pair, who lives abroad, could not arrive in France following major family problems, a few days before the start of training”, she explained on the social network. A publication that did not fail to react to Internet users. On the Web, many of them think they have found the identity of the personality with whom she should have danced this year: the American actor Frankie Munizthe star of the series Malcolm. But don’t panic, other stars have already confirmed their presence in the casting. Former Sports Minister David Douillet, Filipino singer Billy Crawford, comedian Florent Peyre and influencer Léa Elui have officially joined the ranks of Dals.
Dance with the stars : a 12th edition under the sign of renewal
This 12th season of dals will be marked by several novelties. Starting with a new original jury composed of Bilal Hassani, Marie-Agnès Gillot (replacing Jean Paul Gaultier and Denitsa Ikonomova), François Alu and Chris Marques.
