While its title is scheduled for February 21, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has decided to offer a demo of Like a Dragon: Ishin from today. It is available for free on PC via Steam as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. In addition to this demo, Sega announces that all Xbox and PlayStation players who subscribe to its newsletter will get two exclusive weapons as a gift as soon as the game is released. Namely the Bonebreaker Katana and the Waterdrop Katana.
The demo is focused on the possible fights in Like a Dragon: Ishin. Thus players will be able to explore two of the action sequences of the title. A first confrontation consists of facing a whole horde of enemies at the Kiyomizu temple. A second will put you in front of three warriors in armor and therefore tougher.
As a reminder, the title takes us to Kyo in 1860, when inequalities are legion according to the caste to which we belong. Wrongly accused of the murder of his father, Ryoma Sakamoto will have to find the real assassin to clear his honor. But it could well be that his quest for revenge will lead him to change the face of Japan for good.
