Despite her efforts to provide for them, she has great difficulty in providing them with decent living conditions. An ironer in a textile workshop, she does odd jobs but her financial situation does not improve. She will then have to fight to survive in the underprivileged neighborhoods of Istanbul while having to deal with troubled events from the family past.
