A disabled child vanishes on a Normandy beach

The child, who has a disability, vanished around 5:45 p.m., requiring the intervention of the police and lifeguards. He was finally found around 7 p.m., 6.6 kilometers away, in good health, in Cabourg.

Many interventions on the coast to find the missing

Disappearances due to lack of vigilance are common during the summer season, and especially when leaving the beaches, where children or vulnerable people escape the supervision of their loved ones. Ouest France indicates that on the simple day of Saturday, the gendarmes of Calvados are intervened four times, one after the other, on the coast to find three minors and an adult with physical disabilities on the coast.
