As the game reached the 10 million downloads a few days ago, Konami decided to announce in parallel the first event which will be dedicated to the favorite cards of Yu Gi Oh! Zexalthe famous Xyz among which you find Number 39 Utopia, Cyber Dragon Infini or Arsenal Divin AA – ZEUS – Tonnerre du Ciel.
Presentation of the Xyz Festival
In this festival, you will be able to take part in duels against other players in order to obtain medals. Depending on your number of won medals, you will get more or less rewards at the end of your match. Note that you will win regardless of the outcome of the duel. The only way not to get it is when you quit. It is also possible to get twice as many medals by playing your own deck. This is where you will have to be careful because your current deck may not be ready for this event.
Indeed, if you use Link, Fusion or Synchro cards, you will not be able to participate since there is a restriction as follows.
- Only Xyz cards are allowed in the Extra-Deck.
Konami has not yet revealed the rewards that we can obtain but one thing is certain, we will have to prepare for new confrontations.
- Duration of the Festival: from February 17 at 8:430 a.m. to February 24 at 5:59 a.m.
- Receipt of rewards: February 24 at 6 a.m. to February 26 at 3:59 p.m.
This first event will be a perfect test to see decks not necessarily meta and how the game handles events.
