To celebrate the Pokémon World Championships in Asia, a new free distribution is coming to Pokémon Scarlet & Violet to add a real monster to your team.
The Pokémon Scarlet & Violet eSports scene will experience a strong resurgence of interest this month. The Asian portion of the Pokémon World Championships will be broadcast live on May 12 from Thailand, and on May 18 from Singapore. To mark the occasion, trainers of all stripes will be able to recover one of the ultra-powerful Pokémon used by one of the champions for free.
A new free power monster on Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
While we wait for Pokémon Legends ZA, Pokémon Scarlet & Purple continue to receive content regularly. This includes free distributions based on various events linked to GameFreak’s latest flagship game. Thus, to accompany the broadcast of the Asian part of the World Championships of the title, it will be possible to recover the real power monster of one of the champions for free.
More precisely, according to Serebii, we will be talking about Gyarados, the iconic evolution of Magikarp, specially trained by a Singaporean champion. This can be collected on two dates: May 12 and 18. This will take the form of a code provided during the tournament broadcast. You will then only have to enter said code in the Poké Portal menu, in the Mystery Gifts section. The first broadcast will take place from Thailand, while the second will take place in Singapore. For now, unfortunately, that’s all we know about this future new free Pokémon. We do not currently know either the abilities used or the items equipped.
All this will be clarified in due time before the launch of hostilities from May 12. We bet, however, that this Leviator used by a potential world champion is clearly worth the detour. So stay tuned if you want to add this real monster to your team in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
