A GeForce GTX 1630 card as a new entry level?

The RTX 3080 or 3090 cards are all well and good, but some do not have the financial possibility of equipping themselves like this. This is where entry-level cards can come in, like a potential… GTX 1630?

A new entry-level from Nvidia to come? The information comes from the always very well informed VideoCardz but the site in question was obviously able to confirm the information twice on its side. And usually the leaks from their home very often turn out to be absolutely true.

Nvidia on a new entry-level?

With soaring GPU prices, NVIDIA seems to have left the entry level aside to focus on the high end and the mid-range. Greens launched the RTX 3050 card but with its current price this model remains out of reach for many gamers.

A GeForce GTX 1630 should therefore replace the GTX 1050 Ti, it would probably cost less than 190 dollars. At the moment the specs of the GTX 1630 are unknown, but one would expect a TU117 GPU (Turing generation) with less than 75W power requirement and updated GDDR6 memory.

Information to be confirmed

Of course, all this should be taken with a grain of salt, but it seems like a coherent idea to come and tease AMD and pick up players who don’t want to spend several hundred euros to equip themselves with a graphics card. Especially since Intel also plays in this area and this category.

Obviously, it remains to be seen whether the card will have sufficient stock to meet demand, which is far from easy, especially with the planned 20% increase in the price of GPUs/CPUs.

What do you think of the potential arrival of a new entry-level card from Nvidia?
