“A great player and a great man”, Deschamps reacts to the international retirement of Varane

The latter also paid tribute to him this Friday in Lille, on the occasion of the closing of the Yellow Pieces operation.

“Obviously, it’s a departure that doesn’t make me jump for joy. But I respect his choice,” assured the coach before praising the irreproachable behavior of the former Madrid player within the France group.
