a highly anticipated new feature that will relieve players

The content of Baldur’s Gate 3 continues to surprise players with its richness. Moreover, a new addition is available, and it makes the experience offered by Larian Studios even more enjoyable.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the most loved games of this year. Some players already place him above all others, and yet the competition is tough. Its content is particularly highlighted, since it is not only well done, it is also very rich and particularly dense. And it’s not over ! Indeed, a new addition for PC versions is already available for the RPG from Larian Studios, and it will undoubtedly satisfy as many people as possible.

Baldur’s Gate 3 welcomes a welcome mod

We will still temper quickly. We are not talking about something new brought by the studio itself, but rather a PC mod coming from the community’s ovens. Sometimes they are massive, going so far as to transform the game from top to bottom to offer a fundamentally different experience. Otherwise, they can also be used to improve the overall experience, particularly in terms of gameplay or graphics. Here, the mod concerned impacts not a game mechanic, but rather the user experience of Baldur’s Gate 3. A feature which is considered a real source of frustration by some PC players: the menus.

This mod, called “Improved Contextual Menu” is delivered to us by the user Caites. The latter is a bit of a specialist when it comes to improving the user interface. With this mod, he attacks the context menus of Baldur’s Gate 3, those that appear when you right-click on an object or character. The mod allows you to add no less than 35 additional icons to contextual actions in addition to improving fluidity. These icons make the long list that appears on the screen much more readable, and it will then be easier to navigate the menu.

In addition to significantly improving overall readability, this mod will certainly prevent unwanted mouse clicks, something that happens a little too often for some players. Modder Caites has literally saved the lives of several hundred players by making the menus much more ergonomic, readable and orderly. Because while Baldur’s Gate 3 has a ton of good things, its messy menus and texts have never really been praised by critics.

The RPG soon on a new platform

Baldur’s Gate 3 should soon arrive on Xbox Series X|S, that’s a fact. But we don’t really have any more information about it, other than the fact that it should arrive before the end of the year. Some fans no longer believe it, given that we are arriving towards the end of October and there are no announcements to be made. But that was before. Michael Douse, Larian’s publishing director, recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to respond to a comment he didn’t like. His response brought relief to the community.

The plan is to release it before the end of the year. This has been said many times, but guys with 33,000 Twitter followers would rather say anything for likes.

Obviously, the release of Baldur’s Gate 3 on Microsoft’s machine will not be postponed, and it was a fear that was being heard as the weeks passed. That said, we are still waiting for a specific release date before declaring victory. As a reminder, there will be a size difference between version S and X. Local split-screen cooperation will not be present on the less powerful of the two consoles. In any case, not at the moment. Apart from that, these new versions will have all the updates and changes deployed on the RPG.
