But even if the film was beaten on its release, its main actress Halle Berry drew three positive things from it (and a fourth not insignificant)!
Released in 2004, Catwoman was (very) freely inspired by the DC Comics character dear to the Batman universe and who had already appeared in the guise of Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman, the challenge. The film turned out to be a huge flop when it was released, but at an awards show in 2018, Halle Berry reflected on the experience:

“First I want to thank Warner Brothers for putting me in this horrible, sh*tty movie, it was just what my career needed! I was on top and Catwoman just fired me straight down. I love it! Sometimes it’s hard to stay on top, you’re much better down there.”
