a huge dumpling for the physical version

Tomorrow is the long-awaited release of FF7 Rebirth, and something pretty funny happened with one of the upcoming releases of the game. This is a problem we didn’t expect.

Will you return to FF7 Rebirth one last time? Yes, tomorrow is the game’s release, and fans will undoubtedly rush for it. The phenomenon will be felt throughout the world, and that is understandable. We are still talking about the sequel to the remake which has already been the talk of the town in 2020. But just before its arrival, an unusual event occurred. To be more precise, it concerns a version of the title which was the victim of an… unexpected error.

Watch out for the Japanese version of FF7 Rebirth

Are you planning to play FF7 Rebirth? If so, watch out for spoilers, because they will be arriving en masse tomorrow. It goes without saying that this is one of the most anticipated releases of 2024. Everyone (or almost everyone) wants to know what will happen in the continuation of the adventures of Cloud and his band of merry men. What parts of the story will Square Enix change? We will finally have the answer to this question. But first, we bring you a rather funny anecdote about the Japanese version of the game.

It’s nothing too serious, but the studio still had to speak out on the subject. For good reason, there was a problem when printing the two discs of the title. Normally, one of them is dedicated to the game, it is used to launch it, while the other contains the data to download. They are present here, but their roles were switched by accident. As a result, the disk containing the data is the one called “Play Disc” (the disk for playing), and the “Data Disc” has become the one used to start FF7 Rebirth.

Once again, this will not affect the versions you purchased, since it only impacts the Japanese version. Nevertheless, it’s always quite funny to report this kind of news. On this note, see you in less than 24 hours to continue an epic that promises to be unforgettable.
