Since 1972, Nicoletta has kept silent about this strange appearance one evening at a concert, while she was in Vierzon. But during an interview Monday, December 26, she explained herself.
Invited to tell her story to our colleagues from Paris Match, the singer Nicoletta revealed to have witnessed a paranormal phenomenon in the very early 70s without anyone taking it seriously. A striking anecdote for the 78-year-old artist, who without disturbing her unduly questions her a lot.
“I was like, ‘Did they spot us?'”
For Nicoletta there is no room for doubt: what she saw in the sky on this departmental road was indeed a UFO. “I saw a strange thing called a UFO. It was around 1972/1973. It was near Vierzon, on the way to a concert, at night”began by explaining the singer to Paris Match before continuing “At the time, after midnight, on a departmental road, there weren’t that many people. I see something coming on the horizon in front of us, at full speed. It doesn’t make a sound, but it goes fast.” Subjugated, Nicoletta does not take her eyes off this flying object, although it noticeably frightened her “It suddenly dived vertically to start again. I saw it was big. A kind of ocean liner, upside down. So, obviously, when we see something that we have never seen, we are very taken aback, we are dumb with amazement” she confides, “I thought : ‘Did they spot us? They’re coming to kidnap us?’ We waited a while and nothing came back.”
If she only talks about it now, when she is 78 years old, it’s because at the time nobody took it seriously, asking her if she was under the influence. “We were taken for crazy” confirmed Nicoletta, ensuring she was totally sober “We hadn’t drunk anything.” An anecdote that has remained in her memory all these years without having prevented her from continuing her life. “It didn’t change my life, but since then I’ve been asking myself questions.” concluded the singer.
