After several days of vacation, the developers at CoD Vanguard got back to work and recently presented the first big patch of 2022 while promising a number of bug fixes and gameplay improvements to come.
It’s now been three weeks since Vanguard’s last update was released. When it comes to CoD, three weeks is an eternity, and the community has been vocal about their frustrations with the state of the game during that time.
As Krampus lashed out in the games, all kinds of fundamental issues surfaced. After a short period of radio silence while the development team enjoyed a vacation, Sledgehammer Games is back to work for Vanguard.
And recently, the studio announced their comeback on social media while detailing the first round of upcoming changes to the game.
“The break is officially over” announced Sledgehammer in a Twitter thread on Jan.3. While there was no immediate update, their return came with information on what’s to come.
Shotguns should get a new nerf soon.
Indeed, the developers have put forward four key points as being a top priority for their return. First of all, the challenges are set to be fixed in the near future.
Since the launch of Vanguard, a number of weapons have stuck in their progression. This prevented players from completing camouflages, but rest assured, this issue should soon be a thing of the past.
Then a larger tease suggests that a number of asset adjustments are underway for a specific reason: “help counter all that is on fire“.
