During the recent Google I/O opening conference, the Mountain View company showed that it was putting the package on AI. Indeed, if the manufacturer presented some devices, such as the Pixel Fold, the Pixel Tablet or the Pixel 7a, it was around artificial intelligence that the bulk of the presentation was held.
It’s very simple, Google has put artificial intelligence in most of its services, whether it’s the Google Drive suite, Google Messages, Google Photos, Gmail or even its search engine. . It must be said that OpenAI has partnered with Microsoft to directly integrate ChatGPT requests within the Bing search engine itself. Neither one nor two, Google has decided to do the same by offering the results of its own AI tools in its search engine.
Is Google too late?
Nevertheless, while the progress made by generative AIs is measured not on the scale of years, but of weeks, Google seems to be lagging behind in the deployment of its generative AIs. It doesn’t stop there. 42.8% of participants go in the same direction, but remember that it is not won in advance and that the battle will be tough.
Finally, a minority of you do not believe it: 10.8% of the panel answered in the negative, but still admitting that Google gives itself the means to succeed. 2.5% of respondents retort with a much more categorical no.
