A 37-year-old man was shot and killed late Friday morning in a popular district of Nanterre, in the Hauts-de-Seine, AFP learned from concordant sources. According to a police source, the man, shot and wounded, took refuge in a grocery store in the Petit Nanterre district, west of Paris. He collapsed and died a short time later.
The victim was 37 years old, indicated the parquet floor of Nanterre specifying that the investigation had been entrusted to the criminal brigade of the Parisian judicial police.
According to a source close to the case, the victim had a criminal record, but no lead is currently privileged to explain this homicide. “It can be a settling of scores related to narcotics as it can be a personal matter,” said this source.
