Activision is teasing a new cinematic crossover for Call of Duty Vanguard and battle royale Warzone. After Rambo, John McClane as well as Godzilla and Kong, it will be Terminator’s turn.
Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone will once again join forces with American cinema for a crossover that will hit fans of Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Cameron.

Activision has again found a partnership with Hollywood to integrate a legend in Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone, after Rambo and John McClane (Die Hard) as well as Godzilla vs Kong. Who exactly? terminatorthe science fiction icon created by James Cameron (Avatar, Abyss…).
No official announcement, but a teaser on the franchise’s Twitter account. We can read this on the two posted messages: ” It looks like mercenaries have made some unusual loot. Some precious metals glow more in the dark. Who can identify them? Get this information as fast as possible, they will come back”.
Winks to the mythical “I’ll be back” spoken by the T-800 played by Arnold Schwarzenegger and the T-1000, the villain of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The terms of “mimetic polyalloy” for alloy “polymimetic” and ” precious metals “ referring to the antagonist which can take various forms. A nice addition for Call of Duty and movie fans.
When is it available?
The Terminator will be added to Season 4 “Mercenaries” of Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone starting this Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. A new map, Fortune’s Keep, will also be available.
Launching on June 22, Mercenaries brings new challenges and opportunities for Operators. Deploy on Warzone’s all-new Fortune’s Keep map, fight on a battleship in Vanguard’s USS Texas 1945 Multiplayer map, and wade through the swamps of Shi No Numa with the return of Zombies mode rounds.
