A new feature joins WhatsApp on Android, justice closes Yggtorrent and PapaDuStream, this is the recap of the week

The transcription of voice messages should soon arrive on Android, many French pirate sites blocked by the courts, Samsung could offer a folding smartphone for around 735 euros, that’s the recap of the week.

Freebox Pop and Delta subscribers will soon have to say goodbye to the Disney+ Standard formula without advertising. While the French justice system further strengthens its war against illegal downloading by shutting down very popular pirate sites, a WhatsApp update could soon allow us to use voice message transcription on Android. A folding model for less than 800 euros could join the Galaxy Z range and Tesla is working on its “Zero Service” project which would limit the maintenance of its vehicles.

Freebox: Disney+ Standard disappears from Pop and Delta subscriptions

Since the start of 2023, Freebox and Delta subscribers have been able to benefit from 3 months of free subscription to the Disney+ Standard formula without advertising. This advantage unfortunately disappeared on March 18, 2024. In fact, Free subscribers will now have to pay to afford one of the three Disney+ plans, namely the Standard version without advertising at €5.99/month, the Standard version at €8.99/month or the Premium version at €11.99/month.

Voicemail transcription finally comes to Android

If iOS has already benefited from the transcription of voice messages for a year, this very practical functionality did not exist on Android. Good news, an update could soon change that. Android smartphone users will soon be able to dictate the content of their messages orally and transcription will allow their recipients to read these messages rather than listen to them. We do not yet know the date of the introduction of this new function.

Our tests of the week

Rise of the Ronin: a very good action-adventure game that manages to make us forget its flaws

With its wonderful gameplay, its ingenious progression system and its beautiful open world, Rise of the Ronin should delight players, especially fans of Japanese history. We love the fights, the different difficulty levels, the many very endearing characters and the original soundtrack and Japanese dubbing. But this action-adventure game also has its flaws. The enemy AI is not up to par, the VF is not always convincing and we would have appreciated a less conventional structure.

OneXPlayer 2 Pro: a portable console that lacks arguments to fight against the competition

We certainly appreciate the all-in-one proposition of the OneXPlayer 2 Pro and its large 8.4-inch format, unfortunately competition is tough in the portable console market, and it is difficult for us to recommend this product. The 60Hz screen isn’t bright enough, the software experience is terrible, and the keyboard isn’t well designed.
