Japanese publisher Konami teases the announcement of a new game as part of the Tokyo Game Show 2022. A title from a franchise “loved around the world”. The return of Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill or Castlevania?

Konami will have a new game at Tokyo Game Show 2022
In its TGS 2022 program, Konami slipped a little teaser that could have gone unnoticed. Japanese seiyū and singer Yuki Kaji will be on stage to present a new game of a “license loved all over the world”. And inevitably, with all the rumors, three names immediately come to mind: Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill and Castlevania.
But according to VGC, which was the source of the rumor mill about the return of these sagas, the new mystery game is unlikely to be related. Whether it’s a new Silent Hill and/or the remake of 2, a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and/or remasters of other MGS, or even new on Castlevania, the announcement could only take place during a major event.
