a new patch has slipped in, what’s new?

Metal Gear Solid Collection continues, like a snake, slowly but surely to update itself. A version 1.5.1 has been deployed on PC and will soon arrive on other platforms.

This new Metal Gear Solid Collection update specifically targets the PC versions of the second and third games. It will be applied later to other well-targeted versions of the games mentioned and provides some minor fixes.

After the arrival of the much bigger update 1.5.0, Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 continues to be refined by Konami. This brought additional options mainly on PC and various bug fixes depending on the platforms. The application of patches to this collection is in fact carried out each time on a case-by-case basis. Unfortunately, the inability to make fluid 360-degree movements in the first game has obviously still not been corrected.

And this is not going to change with this new version 1.5.1 of the Master Collection Vol.1. Very modest, this is currently targeting the second and third parts on Steam. This mainly concerns the correction of an error in the vibration of certain controllers, as well as other minor fixes. This update will then be applied elsewhere, again on a case-by-case basis.

The PS5 version of the second opus will benefit from this. The same fate will be reserved for the PS4 and Xbox Series version of the third opus. Nothing fundamentally transcendent under the sun, in short. Hopefully things will turn out better for Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake. You will find the patch notes for this version 1.5.1 in French below.

Ver.1.5.1 Fix Details

The main changes brought by the update are as follows.

  • Fixed an error where the vibration function on some controllers did not work.
  • Bug fixes and minor adjustments.

That will be all for now. Snake, end of transmission.
