/ Mom / Child / Maddie McCann case: a new witness claims to have crossed her and recognized her thanks to a physical particularity

A witness claims to have seen the young girl in a supermarket in the south of Portugal, “three or four years ago”.

New twist in the Maddie McCann case. Missing on May 3, 2007, at the age of 4, while on vacation with her family in Portugal, the girl has never been found. Last June, thirteen years after his disappearance, the German authorities announced that they were holding a suspect. Christian B., a 43-year-old German, already convicted of pedophilia and currently imprisoned in northern Germany for drug trafficking. The latter lived in the south of Portugal between 1995 and 2007 and corresponded to the report of a man which had been given at the time.

However, no body has yet been found, leaving doubt that Maddie McCann might still be alive.

Spotted in a supermarket

A testimony has also just relaunched this hypothesis. A Portuguese woman recently said she saw the little girl "three or four years ago", reports the Portuguese program Sexta as 9, spotted by sudinfo.be. Maddie must have been 13 or 14 at the time, and the woman says she was able to tell her apart by one physical peculiarity: a spot in her right eye from an ocular coloboma.

"It was three or four years ago, I can't remember well, in an Apolonia supermarket in Gale (South of Portugal, Editor's note), she says. There was a teenage girl to my right, who spoke German with another teenage girl. When I looked her in the eye, I was sure. They were clear eyes, with the same task as Maddie. The mark in his right eye was clearly visible. I'm sure of what I saw. "

According to sudinfo.be, this woman is a German-speaking teacher who testified on condition of anonymity. According to a source told Portuguese journalists. “She looks very believable and has been filmed. She believes Maddie was brought into the community without anyone knowing, the forensic police are looking at these statements. It sounds farfetched, but anything is possible and nothing can be done. excluded."
