CAIRO (Reuters) – A delegation from Palestinian Islamic Jihad, an ally of Hamas and known to hold Israeli prisoners in Gaza, arrived in Cairo to hold talks with Egyptian security officials, Cairo said on Sunday. Reuters a member of the group familiar with the discussions.

The talks will focus on “ways to end Israeli aggression against our people,” said the Islamic Jihad member, who has so far rejected any new prisoner exchange deal until Israel puts end its offensive on Gaza.
