A Plague Tale: Requiem shows even more of its journey in a trailer dedicated to the scenario

The wait will soon be over as we are only three weeks away from the launch ofA Plague Tale: Requiem on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Switch in its Cloud Version. Last week the gameAsobo Studio appeared on the side of NVIDIA to impress us and praise the merits of ray tracing and DLSS-3. Focus Entertainment returns to more basic considerations now and, after the trailer of gameplay shared in August, room for one trailer focused only on the scenario.

It is always with its English dubbing that we discover this new very instructive preview (it would be nice to have a preview in our language for a French game…). To begin with, we find Amicia, Hugo and Lucas playing with the aim of tiring the youngest, recalling in passing that the mother of the children of Runes, Beatrice, is still alive. The joy and good humor quickly fade from the next scene, in which a priest advises to lock up Hugo due to his illness and therefore of his rat-related powers, and obviously knows enough about the Prima Macula to affirm that the last stage of its evolution means the death of its bearer

But all hope is not lost, because Hugo had a vision of an island where he could be cured of this “curse”. The duo will therefore head south to find her, relying on their allies old and new to face the danger, although some do not seem to be trustworthy. A change of scenery will be required, especially in a city on this island named La Cuna directed by a certain County. And of course, the rats will still be just as numerous and threatening when they break out in hordes. The end of the trailer tease a sword duel against an invisible individualperhaps an antagonist of the same caliber as Nicholas from the first game?

A Plague Tale: Requiem will be released on October 18 and you can pre-order it on Amazon at the price of €44.99.
