A potential ranked mode for Vanguard would have been leaked

Hardcore Call of Duty fans have repeatedly requested a ranked game mode in Vanguard. Here’s everything we know about the future potential of these rankeds.

For some Call of Duty players, the basic multiplayer experience isn’t enough. Vanguard players who want to test their skills against other high-level players currently have no way of doing so. Indeed, they are still waiting for a ranked game mode.

One of CoD’s biggest competitors, Halo, recently launched a dedicated ranked game mode and that mode was considered a smash hit.

Vanguard players remain frustrated with the lack of competitive support for the game. Despite this, recently uncovered information suggests that the arrival of ranked game mode may be soon.

Activision

Warzone does not have a class mode either at the moment.

A ranked game mode for Vanguard

There is currently no official announcement regarding the release date of Vanguard Ranked. Despite everything TheMW2Ghost, the famous Call of Duty leaker, has suggested that Ranked Play could happen in Season 2.

While this recent discovery is a step in the right direction, players will have to wait a bit longer to get their hands on this highly anticipated mode.

With the Season 1 battle pass expiring on February 1, it can be assumed that Season 2 will launch in early February 2022. Ranked mode is an integral part of the multiplayer community engagement. The progression system and the difficulty of climbing the ranks keep players coming back as seen in games such as League of Legends.

The developers of Vanguard have already faced criticism from gamers who have compared the sublime launch of Halo Infinite. This one, rich in content, clearly overshadowed Vanguard. However, a new year brings new hope, and fans of the franchise are hoping for a fresh start and ranked if possible.
