Franchise A Quiet PlaceWhere Without a Noise in French, is far from over. After two successful first films directed by John Krasinski, Paramount Pictures prepare a spin offa sequel that should be called A Quiet Place Part IIIand even a single-player horror game in partnership with Saber Interactive.
It’s the spin off directed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig), the first project to see the light of day, which is being talked about again this week. It should have been released in theaters on September 22, 2023 in the United States, but has just been postponed to March 8, 2024 to allow more time for its production. We do not yet know what the film will tell, produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller and John Krasinski, and which will be based on an original idea of the latter. On the other hand, we now know its title: it will be A Quiet Place: Day One and it will be a prequel to the start of the invasion Earth by these strange creatures with acute hearing.
Otherwise, the next feature film by John Krasinski, whose code name was Imaginary Friendswas officially renamed Yew, and its release has also been delayed by 6 months to May 24, 2024. It will star alongside Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Cailey Fleming, Louis Gossett Jr., Fiona Shaw, Alan S. Kim and Steve Carell, a handsome cast.
