A release date for the Astro City Mini V

As indicated when the machine was announced last December, the shoot-them-up genre will be honored on this beautiful 4.6-inch vertical screen, to enjoy a total of 22 titles announced so far. Toaplan, Raizing / 8ing, Psikyo, Seibu Kaihatsu and of course SEGA will be represented in this list of cult titles, which will still welcome Wrestle War for wrestling fans and Cosmo Police Galivan for vigilantes.

Note that the special pre-order edition on the Japanese SEGA Toys store will include the Game Center Style Astro City Mini V kit and the Astro City Mini controller, not to mention a CD containing the emblematic musical compositions of the various games. Naturally, the terminal can be connected to an HDMI monitor to enjoy it on a larger screen – but probably not vertical, which automatically induces sacred bands on either side of the screen.

Ultimate precision, public test sessions will be organized from April 4 to 10 in the legendary Mikado room of Takadanobaba, in the heart of Tokyo, but limited to the game Terra Cresta from 1985. A cult game which recently welcomed a new episode with the release of Sol Cresta on consoles and PC, coming from PlatinumGames.
