Alchemist+ in the second half of 2023
Unlike a lot of observers, Intel must have suspected that it wouldn’t be so easy to get back into the race when AMD and NVIDIA have several years of experience.
However, the release of the A380, A580, A750 and A770 is not a failure. The first is a far from ridiculous entry-level model, while if the others can’t afford to fight against the RTX 3090 and other RX 6900XT, they can be enough for many players.
Quoted by our colleague Videocardz, YouTube channel RedGamingTech has posted what appears to be a completely legit Intel roadmap. We discover in particular that the American company has not finished with the Arc Alchemist cards.
Battlemage at the start of 2024
While the references of cards already available seem to be maintained until the middle of the year 2023, Intel should then launch an update of its range of GPUs, with an “Alchemist+” which means everything and means nothing at the same time. .
Intel appears to be preparing at least two models, the Alchemist+ G20 (TDP 75-100 Watts) for mid-2023 and the Alchemist+ G21 (TDP 175-225 Watts) for Q3.
Then, in early 2024, Intel would switch to Battlemage, its second architecture, with at least two models: the G10 (TDP less than 225 Watts) at the start of the second quarter and the G21 (TDP less than 150 Watts) a few weeks later… Of course, all this is not confirmed by the principal concerned.
