A woman accuses the singer of assaulting her when she was underage. Bob Dylan is also said to have supplied the girl with alcohol and drugs.
Singer Bob Dylan is being sued in New York City court by a woman over charges dating back almost 60 years. Known in the press only by his initials, JC says that in 1965, Bob Dylan “abused his status as a musician to supply JC with alcohol and drugs and repeatedly sexually assault him”, according to his complaint. Alleged victim claims Dylan caused him “severe psychological damage and emotional trauma” according to‘AFP. She was twelve when she rubbed shoulders with the star, who also allegedly threatened her physically. This complaint comes 56 years after the facts, and one day before they are prescribed by the law of the State of New York.
For his part, the American singer and poet said via his spokesperson that “the 56-year-old accusation is false and will be vigorously opposed”.
