A Space For The Unbound is a pixel art narrative adventure game that will immerse you in rural Indonesia at the end of the 90s. You will follow a couple of young high school students, Atma and Raya, in full self-discovery at the end of their high school years. But a mysterious supernatural power will come to disturb the tranquility of the small island town, following the fall of a meteor. As a strange feline creature suddenly appears, several residents develop supernatural powers.
Our two protagonists, themselves invested with these mysterious powers, will have to investigate these events which risk leading straight to the end of the world. In the manner ofInception, you will have to delve into the minds of the inhabitants and thus discover the hidden secrets of the city and learn more about each other. Your powers then make you alternate between the real world and a surreal world.
The game, whose aesthetic is inspired by the work of Makoto Shinkai, promises an atmosphere that is both poetic and melancholic. Addressing strong themes such as anxiety or depression, the story will focus above all on how to overcome these dark feelings.
