PARIS (Reuters) – Traffic was severely disrupted on the Parisian bus and tram network due to a social movement for wages and the opening to competition scheduled for 2025.

On its website, the RATP indicates that 30% of bus lines are interrupted. On open lines, only one out of two buses runs on average, with variations depending on the sector.

As for the tramway, the Paris transport authority reports that on average, one out of two trams runs but only during peak hours.

On the other hand, traffic is almost normal for the metro and RER.

Traffic is normal on eleven of the 16 metro lines and almost normal for lines 2, 3, 7, 13 (nine trains out of 10) and line 8 (eight trains out of 10).

The RATP also reports that traffic is normal on the RER lines.
