A 45-year-old from Ansfelden was sentenced to two years in prison, eight months of which were unconditional, on Monday in Linz. He is said to have kept 50 dogs in small, dirty kennels and used them in fights. The judgment is not final.
The 45-year-old had to answer for drug sales, weapons possession and animal cruelty. Until September of the previous year, the man is said to have miserably kept 50 dogs in the basement of his home in kennels that were too small and dirty and used them in fights have received enough water.
