Twitch streamer “saveaprincess” has been banned from the platform after a video of her doing ASMR broke through on social media, with some people deeming the clip shocking.
In 2021, ASMR has become one of the most popular categories on Twitch. Lots of female streamers have gotten into it like Amouranth and Indiefoxx, wearing leggings and gobbling ears to reach tens of thousands of viewers.
Since then, Twitch has been plagued with numerous bans and the ASMR hype has quickly faded. Yet it is still a rather popular category and not without controversy.
Sometimes female streamers can push the envelope a little too far to attract viewers.
The “saveaprincess” streamer has been a hit over the past few hours with a clip that has been shared thousands of times on social media. She can be seen totally swallowing one ear, completely dropping the part where she was just supposed to “lick” it.

Her last Twitch live was on January 29, 2022 and she has been banned since that day. She found a home at Facebook Gaming where she already has a partnership and over 40,000 followers.
In a deleted tweet, the streamer said she didn’t do ASMR on Facebook because it was banned, so she mostly streams Grand Theft Auto and other classic games.
She has also appealed her ban on Twitch, but has yet to receive a response. The platform has made many efforts to avoid this kind of overflow in recent months, but they obviously have not yet finished cracking down on some streamers who try to defy the rules of Twitch.
