Chantal Goya was one of the first stars discovered in Mask Singer 6, launched with great fanfare on TF1 on May 3. The singer speaks about this experience which she absolutely does not regret.
As soon as the final of Dance with the stars broadcast, TF1 sought to occupy space by announcing the launch the following week of Mask Singer. The first channel kicked off season 6 on Friday May 3 in the presence of an almost completely renewed team of investigators. Indeed, if Kev Adams – present since the first edition of the program in 2019 – is still there, Laurent Ruquier invites himself onto the set with his sidekick from Big heads Chantal Ladesou. Chantal Ladesou also had a somewhat tense exchange with Inès Regthe fourth and final investigator of Mask Singer 2024, in the first issue which allowed us to discover six of the twelve candidates in the running this year. We were able to hear a Leopard singing the hit Tattoo of Loreen, putting the investigators on the path of Nolwenn Leroy or Armande Altaï, and a hamster attempting a resumption of Papaoutai of Stromae. If the names of Olivier Minne or Julien Courbet have been mentioned, it is ultimately the journalist Jacques Legros who was hiding under this imposing costume, as we discovered during his “Reveal” which occurred later in the evening.

The joker of the news TF1 is not the only personality to have been discovered. Indeed, Kev Adams, Inès Reg, Laurent Ruquier and Chantal Ladesou, were quickly challenged by the covers of the titles There is joy by Charles Trénet and Caramel candies by Annie Cordy. It was finally Chantal Goya who had donned a giant popcorn costume! “At 81 years old, I still like to have fun. That’s why I agreed to participate in this program”explains the interpreter of Pandi Pandavisibly delighted with her television experience.

Highly in demand, Chantal Goya is also preparing to make her introduction to the world of cinema. “I had dinner with people who have nothing to do with my shows and who are big producers”she revealed last December on the radio microphone RTL. She then clarified that an adaptation in several languages of her show The mysterious journey of Marie-Rose (1984) was in preparation. “I will be uncompromising on my face, on everything, I really have to be close to them to explain to the designers what we would like it to become. Obviously with all the songs”she said, suggesting that she would therefore take part in this obviously highly anticipated project.

Until then, the singer must continue her singing tour, she who is currently on tour in the spring and until the fall. No less than 19 performances are scheduled, in Lyon, Metz, Béziers or even Nice and Bordeaux to name just these cities!
