Continuing the merger between OPPO and OnePlus, the two companies are working together to develop a unified overlay for their smartphones
.

The two companies are still modest around this project, but it is still relevant. However, you will have to wait a little longer than expected.

The unified overlay expected for the second half

For more than a year, OnePlus and OPPO have been getting closer. We have known since last fall that the two brands will soon use the same interface on their smartphones. And this new unified system is as much talked about as it is expected. We hoped for the launch of the new OnePlus 10 Pro, whose international release is scheduled for March or April, but the smartphone should finally use OxygenOS 12. The reason would be simple: according to the sources of MySmartPrice, the unified overlay for OnePlus and OPPO (UnifiedOS) would eventually roll out in the second half of 2022.

The site goes further and says that UnifiedOS will be based on Android 13, the next version of Google’s mobile operating system, but that its development is still in its infancy. The overlay, which would be called H2OOS according to some rumors, should nevertheless be announced at the same time as a new flagship OnePlus. Incidentally, we also learn that a OnePlus Nord CE 2 (5G) will be announced in a few days, probably February 11, while an entry-level version is also planned.
