While player enthusiasm for Rebirth Island has seen its ups and downs, Résurgence’s popularity has always been strong.

Warzone player has found the perfect replacement for Rebirth Island
On December 30, a Warzone player pointed out on Reddit that Hashima Island would make a great map for Resurgence mode. The island, located off the coast of Japan, was abandoned in 1974 and has practically become a ghost island ever since.
Some players supported his idea of adding more cards to Resurgence. “That would be great. I really want them to add more Resurgence cards. I enjoy Rebirth Island, of course, but that’s about all my team wants ”, said one player. “This little card is getting old. Surely, since it’s so much smaller than the main one, they could add at least 2-3 more and spin them. ”
Others weren’t very fond of the map on offer and took into consideration the amount of dream spots it would offer for campers. “Ah yes, Skyfall Island. I can already imagine the rooftop campers. ”
Verdansk having been replaced by Caldera following the integration of Warzone with Vanguard, the developers could consider the idea of a new map.
