It was in the medical establishment of Gleizé, in the Rhône, that this attack occurred. As he tried to flee the hospital, the 44-year-old man was arrested by two security guards, whom he also attacked physically. They each received ten and eight days of total incapacity to work. After which, the attacker of the young mother was finally arrested by the police and placed in custody at the Villefranche-sur-Saône police station. Pending his trial, scheduled for April 2023, a judicial review has been pronounced. The defendant, who was charged for “battery and injury” and admitted the facts, is strictly prohibited from contacting his companion, as well as from going to the hospital, except in the event of a medical emergency.
