A10 MkII: Audio Pro gives access to AirPlay 2 and Google Cast to its multiroom speaker

Like the new Addon C5 MkII, the A10 MkII changes very little compared to its predecessor. The philosophy remains the same, as does the cylindrical design with identical dimensions to the first A10 (14 cm in diameter and 19.3 cm high for 1.5 kg). However, the design is slightly different with a mesh fabric on the edge soberly reworked. The acoustic architecture is also identical to the previous version with a 1.25 inch (3.2 cm) tweeter and a 3 inch (7.2 cm) woofer. Ditto for the connection: it remains the same with a mini-jack input as well as Bluetooth and wifi connectivity.

The A10 MkII differs from its predecessor in its compatibility with the AirPlay 2 and Google Cast protocols, in addition to the proprietary Audio Pro protocol. This will make it much easier to connect your speaker to the multiroom network of your home or business. Power consumption has also been very slightly lowered, from 1.9 W on the previous model to 1.8 W on this new speaker.

The A10 MkII is already available for sale at a price of €250, which is €50 more than the first A10.
