A 23-year-old woman from the canton of Aargau was in Kosovo last summer. When her vacation ended and she was due to go back to work, she decided to extend her vacation. With illegal means. She got a fake corona test result on the street in Kosovo, as “Argovia Today” reports.
For 50 euros she bought an antibody blood test with a positive result. The young woman sent the document to her boss on her last day of vacation.
The employer’s partner then asked the employee to submit a PCR test. So the woman from Aargau contacted the forger in Kosovo again and promptly received a positive PCR result free of charge, as can be seen from the penal order from the Aargau public prosecutor’s office.
1500 francs for fine and penalty order fee
The boss’s wife studied the two documents carefully and found discrepancies. She then contacted the company that allegedly issued the results. There she found out that the test results were fake and that the company had never sent them.
The public prosecutor’s office sentenced the 23-year-old to a fine of 600 francs. She also has to pay the fee for the penalty order of 900 francs. In addition to these 1,500 francs, she also received a conditional fine.
It was clear to the criminal authorities: the fraudster deliberately sent her boss the falsified test results in order to gain additional vacation days. With her actions she had damaged the company, which had to compensate for the staff shortage. It is not known whether the woman will still work there after this crime. (man)
