(CercleFinance.com) – ABB announces that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the majority of Meshmind, a software services provider, and thus expand its R&D skills in the areas of AI, industrial IoT and artificial vision.
With this acquisition, ABB will integrate new talents and skills into a new global R&D hub, accelerating the development of innovative automation solutions within its Machine Automation (B&R) division.

Meshmind’s offices in Sarajevo (Bosnia) become B&R’s new global hub for software and AI development. Financial details of the transaction, which is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2024, were not disclosed.
