The maker of fast chargers for electric vehicles and industrial drives for factories reported net profit of $2.64 billion, beating forecasts of $2.42 billion, in a consensus of analysts’ forecasts.
Operating earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITA) increased 20% to $988 million, which beat the forecast of $983 million.
