The Sanctions Commission of the Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) accuses the company of significant deficiencies in its system to combat money laundering and the financing of terrorism.

In detail, the ACPR noted shortcomings in updating customer knowledge, in the detection of politically exposed persons (PPE), in the automated detection of atypical operations or even concerning the time limit for transmitting reports of suspicion. .

The Authority specifies that it took into account the fact that significant remedial actions had been undertaken since 2020 for a significant total amount of 14 million euros, while noting that they were late.

The decision, communicated to the press on Friday, dates from October 12.
