A 92-year-old German was reported missing in Lower Austria on Thursday. Werner Friedrich Roggmann had taken a bus trip from Vienna to Melk in Lower Austria – but on the way home there was suddenly no trace of the elderly man.
Roggmann lives in a pensioners’ apartment building in Vienna. On Thursday he traveled to Melk by bus with four supervisors. When the bus wanted to start its journey home at around 5.30 p.m., it was found that the pensioner was no longer with the group. Relevant information is requested from the Melk police station on 059133/3130. It is suspected that he might have tried to join the group himself take the train back to Vienna. The 92-year-old could therefore be in the Melk district or in Vienna, or there is also the possibility that Roggmann could have driven in the direction of Linz. According to the police, an accident cannot be ruled out.
